Ghost Pepper Hummus

Hummus has always been one of our favorite brew day snacks. Its healthy, vegan, and delicious. At the store, however, it's expensive! A small portion of it is hard to find under $4, and I have always found these versions to be excessively oily, as well as not being made with 100% olive oil (Shame!). We will show you how to make a simple and delicious spicy hummus at home for less than 1/3 of the cost of hummus from the grocery store.

    Ingredients:

1 can (15oz) of organic Garbanzo Beans (Chickpeas)
    1/2 cup olive oil
    1/4 cup tahini paste
    3-4 peeled garlic cloves
1 tsp salt (I prefer Pink Himalayan or Sea Salt)
    2 medium-sized lemons

    Directions:

Open the canned garbanzo beans and rinse with a strainer.
Squeeze the juice from the lemons. Make sure your garlic cloves are peeled.
From there, add all ingredients to a food processor or blender and blend until smooth. SIMPLE!

3 tsp of Ghost Sauce yields a mild spicy hummus, If you are a heat freak, using 6-7 tsp will yield a fiery kick! You can add anything else you want. (Caramelized onions, olive salad, roasted bell pepper, etc)
    Enjoy!
